I’m not the type of girl who goes to the salon to get my nails done, I prefer to do them myself.
I’ve been through numerous brands of nail polish and have been unsatisfied with the results, especially Wet ‘n Wild, I had to use several coats of polish which ended up chipping within the next day. Finally, after what felt like a lifetime, I discovered Essie Nail Polish.

Essie Nail Polish: Turquoise and Caicos, a flirty and pretty tropical aqua

Essie Nail Polish is chip resistant, long lasting and provides flawless coverage!

Essie currently carries a total of 120 different nail polish colors which ranges from a soft sheer a lot of shekels to a lovely dark licorice. Many of the colors are very subtle and sophisticated as well. Essie nail polish gives amazing, long-lasting color in just a single coat. I was very pleased with the outcome of the color. Essie also carries a line of nail care products such as their all in one base coat, for healthy, normal nails and their no chips ahead top coat. I didn’t use a base coat or a top coat, and I’ve been wearing my current polish for about 5 days and it hasn’t chipped as of yet. I imagine if I did in fact use the nail care products that the color would last very well over a week without any chips whatsoever.

Since 1981, Essie has been providing chip resistant, flawless color. Essie has been featured in many well-known magazines such as InStyle, Self, Life & Style and Fitness magazine. Essie Nail Polish has won awards such as Chicest Shades and Best Nail Polish. Finding Essie was quite easy for me, it’s located at every local drug store and averages about $6.00 per bottle. This brand is fantastic but could get a little costly if purchasing a bottle of nail polish, a base coat treatment as well as a top coat treatment.

Pros

  • Dries quickly
  • Variety of colors
  • Long-lasting color

Cons

  • Doesn’t come with a 3-in-1 pack

I will never use another brand other than Essie Nail Polish, it’s definitely my all-time favorite!
