No doubt about it, we are living in the era of social media.  Where once we connected with people by getting their phone numbers, now we get their Facebook information.  Our own social website pages allow us to share immense details of our lives with family, friends, even strangers.  To keep those pages up to date with clear pictures of great quality is sometimes a challenge, but the Kodak EasyShare Z915 makes it easy and fun.

I purchased the Kodak EasyShare Z915 two years ago, and have not looked back since.  My camera has an amazing capacity of hundreds of pictures, each on crystal clear and full of detail.  The zoom on the Kodak EasyShare Z 915 is so powerful, I was able to see the sweat on my friend’s brow as he was on the football field while I cheered from the stands.  Now that’s powerful!  I don’t recommend this camera for long-distance nature shots, however.  Mountains standing miles away tend to come out fuzzy, and the lower the light, the fuzzier the picture becomes.  Also, night shots are pretty much out of the question.  Even with a tripod, the Kodak EasyShare Z915 simply cannot handle extreme low-light situations.

The Kodak EasyShare Z915 somewhat makes up for its inability to handle low light with amazing features allowing for customizing based on the current situation.  With a simple click of the wheel on top of the camera, my Kodak EasyShare Z915 adjusted to the intense light of the California beach my son was on.  With another click, I was able to zoom in so close, I could see rainbows of light reflecting off the grains of sand on my son’s chin.  So fast and easy, I didn’t miss a single precious memory with my child.  In fact, I was able to preserve them!  Best of all, the camera is remarkably resilient.  When my son knocked the camera from my hands and it landed in the sand, I was able to pick it up, dust it off, and keep right on clicking.

The Kodak EasyShare Z915 runs around $200 at most local retail stores, and is well worth the cost.  Though you won’t be able to get truly professional-looking shots, this compact camera packs a wallop of power for its size and offers incredibly impressive user-friendly features.
