Yes to Carrots Body Butter Review
Written by Adrienna Ogin
If you are looking for something to help with dry skin you may want to consider trying Yes to. Yes to has created a line of beauty products, using organic fruits and vegetables with dead sea minerals. They have four lines, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, and blueberry.
In their carrot line they have created a body butter. It is a super rich and creamy body butter that is paraben free and 97% natural product. It has carrot seed oil, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil and more. The result is a quickly absorbing nourishing all over skin moisturizer.
I use it immediately after getting out of the shower and have been pleased with the results. It quickly absorbs into my skin and leaves it feeling smooth. I like the thick consistency of the butter and a little goes a long way. It isn’t greasy, and it spreads easily and evenly over my skin. It isn’t a miracle body butter though. I have bumps and dried patches on the backs of my arms, that although are softer, they are still very much present. The smell leave a little to be desired. The scent reminds me of a baby cream, and I dislike it enough that I wouldn’t use Yes to carrots, but the scent quickly goes away. It comes in a 8.45 fluid oz. container and costs $11.00-$12.00. As I had mentioned earlier a little goes a long way over your skin
I had read some reviews in regard to Yes to Carrots body butter and one thing that has been mentioned several times is that they have changed the formula. This has been a complaint of the reviewers. I’m not certain when the formula was changed or if I have the original formula or the new formula. The consistent complaints are that the new formula is greasy and does not soften the skin. This is of course a concern when thinking about purchasing a new bottle of Yes To Carrots body butter. As my experience (aside from the scent) has been good, and the effect on my skin has been positive, but I’m hesitant to wholeheartedly recommend it if there has been a change in the formula that makes this product less than it was. What I am using right now is wonderful and like water for my skin, I hope it remains that way.
