After years of struggling to find a product that could be the perfect match and tool to compliment and improve the look of my brows, my search has finally come to a thankful end– at around $22 a pop, for a product that lasts nearly a year, it’s nothing but love .
Anastasia, herself, specifically designed this product to apply smoothly onto, blend color into, and improve the look of the brow with a look so natural it looks like your own. With a velvety-smooth pencil on one end and a built in brow brush on the other, this product is perfect for anyone who wants to achieve a fuller, more defined brow look. Coming from someone who has naturally light, sparse and thin eyebrow hairs, finding brow products that looked natural, but also had enough staying power to last the whole day was almost futile. What I had to settle for was using an eye shadow, that looked too harsh and unnatural on my fair face, brow wax in the hopes of the powder staying on for the day, and a brow brush to apply the shadow. But, now that I use the Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil, my makeup routine is a lot shorter and easier to carry inside of my makeup bag. The Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil is an eye shadow, brow wax, and brush applicator all in one. Instead of constantly worrying about if I have all of my products to do my eyebrows, just a simple pencil can make even my unruly and sparse brows look fuller, but most importantly natural all day and night long. The one thing I love most about this brow product is it’s staying power. This product has lasted on my face for more than 24 hours, even lasting through a pretty intense workout. Even in the heat with extreme humidity, none of the product has ever melted off of my face or oxidized into another color.
This product comes in 6 natural shades, meant to compliment and match with all types of skin color and hair color. Whether wanting a shade to darken your blonde brows or one to fill in sparse areas throughout your dark, black brows, this product contains 6 shades that magically fit anyone and everyone. As I mentioned earlier, though this eyebrow pencil costs significantly more than drugstore ones, it has personally lasted me nearly a year. The pencil is so pigmented that using short light strokes fills in and extends my nearly nonexistent brows. If you have a heavy hand, use the spooley brush end of the duo pencil and gently blend the color in with short upward strokes.
A few things worthy of mentioning about this product. If you’re looking for a brow pencil to give you those thick, heavy, and tattooed looking brows this is not the brow pencil for you. The Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil has a harder, dryer formula which takes a little more pressure than some of the other pencils. Because of this, the brow color is intensified and full, but more than that the look is on the natural and soft side. For me, I’d rather have natural, softer looking brows, but if you want one that has a softer formula which can build color more easily, I suggest trying out Anatasia’s Brow Wiz.
