Ever get bored with your hair? I have very straight hair naturally so I rely on other hair appliances to give my look life and keep things interesting. My favorite product for transforming dull, lifeless hair into a vibrant, bouncy do is the Conair 1 1/2″ Ceramic Satin Finish Instant Heat Curling Iron. This curling iron freshens up your look without an expensive trip to the salon.
The Conair 1 1/2″ Ceramic Satin Finish Instant Heat Curling Iron is an electric, corded iron that heats to 390 degrees Fahrenheit in only thirty-seconds. The curling iron comes with 30 different heat settings as well as an automatic shut-of which is ideal for people that occasionally forget to turn their iron off and then spend the rest of the day picturing their bathroom burning down (not that I’ve ever done that before…). The curling iron also has duel voltage, which means it only uses two prongs in it’s plug instead of three, making is usable worldwide and ideal for travelers.
The wide ceramic barrel leaves hair looking shiny and feeling smooth and is perfect for adding body by creating large, flowing curls. I use this curling iron at least once a week and can say that it really does produce wonderful curls every time. My hair is very long so it can be difficult to create curls that last all day without falling out, but the Conair 1 1/2″ Ceramic Satin Finish Instant Heat Curling Iron definitely lives up to the hype. If you’re looking for tight, ringlet-style curls this is not the curling iron for you. Conair makes a similar product, the Conair 1″ Ceramic Satin Finish Instant Heat Curling Iron, which has all the same important features, like instant heat up an a ceramic barrel that leaves your hair silky smooth, but the 1″ barrel leaves you with smaller, tighter curls.
The pros and cons of this product are simple, but let’s refresh and recap.
- Heats to 390 degrees in 30 seconds
- Automatic shut-off
- Leaves hair shiny and smooth
- Creates all day curls
- Worldwide duel voltage
- Inexpensive ($17.99)
- Product may vary depending on hair type
I have long, fine hair an this iron words great for me, but it may be different for someone with very thick hair, something to keep in mind. I do love how inexpensive this iron is, and I don’t see anyone getting a better product for the price. I have no complaints and would certainly spend my money on the Conair 1 1/2″ Ceramic Satin Finish Instant Heat Curling Iron again.
