Looking for accuracy in an easily visible clock for your home? The Skyscan Atomic Clock 88800/88801 has got you covered on both counts, plus a few added bonus features.
The roughly 11” x 8” clock face displays a simplistic gray frame and can be either hung on a wall or stood up using a fold-out foot base. Placed on top of my fridge, my Skyscan prominently displays the time, with the date, day, current lunar phase, and indoor temperature also available. An outdoor temperature sensor is available with the model, but my difficulties with the setup and third story apartment / ever-closed windows keep me from using this feature. I do, however, love the lunar display—totally nonessential but fun to see—and the date and day displays are also super convenient. My schedule varies from day to day, so knowing which day of the week it is is vital to my efficiency, and this Sky Scan has stuck with me through three years and many moves.
A downside to this Skyscan model includes its very simplistic design, depending on your taste, and the cheap appearance of the gray frame material. Additionally, the steps to reset the clock (necessary with every battery change) are complex enough that you should keep your owner’s manual around for such an occasion. The clock should not operate near other technological devices (e.g. TVs and computer monitors) due to possible interference, and will likely not be as accurate if placed in a room with lots of concrete. While an alarm feature is available, the lack of buttons on the front and their poor labeling mean waking up might be a breeze but turning off your alarm could prove difficult.

The Skyscan Atomic Clock 88800/88801 is simple, accurate and makes a great kitchen or laundry room clock for people on the go who need readily accessible info. Other Skyscan models, such as the 88905, are much more suited to decorating, while competitor brand offerings like the Acu-Rite Atomic Clock and Wireless Thermometer are also inexpensive and plain but do not offer the lunar phase display, making the Skyscan Atomic Clock 88800/88801 a unique selection for the price.

this clock and it’s transmitter worked fine for yeqars. now however the clock still works but the transmitter has quit. Can I get another transmitter?

I had some difficulty changing to DST. Now all is OK, but the clock defaults to a time 4 hrs. earlier than our CDTevery night. What do I do?

I have a model 88800/88801 atomic clock and just changed batteries. In the upper left corner under Day is the series of numbers 0 to 50. What does that reference or mean?

I changed the batteries and trying to understand under DAY-there are numbers 0 to 50, and I don’t know what that means or references. Under DATE- there are negative and positive numbers and I have also forgotten what that references or means.
I would greatly appreciate any help I can get to resolve these two issues.

I am anita I have used these clocks for almost faithful service being born I 1933 makes me happy to be able to see the day,time,month ,year ,temperature,easily convenient to my being swift..that convenienceis important only to me,because of hoping to stay as good as I am.where loved ones think any time piece is enough.so I thought you guys can sell more clocks.
