I am the opposite of a morning person, but unfortunately that is not a valid excuse for me to start every day at noon. I’m always on a hunt for a facial cleanser that I can use once in the morning before school and keep my face looking fresh and clean all day. I was intrigued by Clean & Clear Morning Burst’s claim that the facial cleanser “wakes you up”, so I decided to give it a try. After using the product for a few months now, I can say that I’m glad I chose Clean & Clear Morning Burst! The facial cleanser’s vitamin blend, bursting beads, and crisp fragrance have made this my new favorite skincare product.
The three main features advertised on the Clean & Clear Morning Burst bottle are that the facial cleanser wakes you up, contains bursting beads full of Vitamin C and ginseng, and a refreshing citrus scent. The Vitamin C and ginseng leave my face feeling and looking clean and oil-free after washing. This freshness actually continues throughout the day; I don’t feel the need to wash my face at the end of the day like I have with other facial cleansers. So, what about the claim that Clean & Clear Morning Burst “wakes you up”? Surprisingly enough I found this to be true as well, and after perusing the ingredient list on the back of the bottle I figured out why. Clean & Clear Morning Burst facial cleanser contains menthol, which explains the tingly, invigorating sensation I feel on my face while using it. This sensation coupled with the citrus fragrance does give me some temporary extra energy.
What I enjoy most about Clean & Clear Morning Burst facial cleanser is the residue-free freshness I feel after using it. Morning Burst doesn’t leave a soapy, filmy residue on my face after I use it, and it never clogs my pores. The scent is noticeable without being overbearing, and I love the tingly menthol feeling. The only downside I notice with Clean & Clear Morning Burst facial cleanser is that sometimes the “bursting beads” don’t burst at all, and I will find a stray orange or yellow bead on my face during the day.
I just use the regular Clean & Clear Morning Burst facial cleanser, but the Clean & Clear Morning Burst line also includes some specialty facial cleansers such as the Detoxifying facial scrub, Shine Control facial cleanser, and the Skin Brightening facial cleanser.
All in all, I would say the Clean & Clear Morning Burst facial cleanser is worth the price tag of $6.49 (or even less – local drugstores are always running discounts and promotions). I get more than seventy-five washes out of one bottle, and it never fails to keep my face feeling clean, clear and invigorated.
