After using a regular 13-inch Macbook (which worked great), I wanted to have a laptop with a strong capacity to work with graphics and video editing software. This laptop is a total high-performance machine. With its sleek but sturdy aluminum shell, this computer has high functioning capabilities, lots of storage and memory and it functions quite smoothly. Having the 15-inch model was a good size balance (right between the 13-inch and the 17-inch). Its interface is modern and simple. It starts up and shuts down quickly and applications open up in mere seconds.
Other features include integrated Wireless-N Wi-Fi networking, Bluetooth connectivity, an SD card slot, and two USB 2.0 ports. It also comes with the Mac OS X Snow Leopard operating system as well as the iLife software suite, which includes the latest versions of iPhoto, iMovie, and GarageBand. One of my favorite features is the photobooth, which I can pose and then edit to post online.
As I have worked on websites and use photo editing software, I could have various programs running simultaneously and toggle seamlessly between each one. I’ve had a web editing program (Dreamweaver) open as well as Adobe Photoshop for editing images and even video. Everything worked harmoniously well. I can easily install programs and have them at my fingertips ready for use. I never once had problems with the machine crashing due to having so many programs open.
It is suitable for the everyday user to the web/graphics professional. In general, Macbook products have been reliable in my personal and professional use. I’ve never had a problem with my Macbook Pro and I’ve used it for a few years. It is one of the best laptops and it feels like you are working from a desktop with its large, clear display and comfortable keyboard.

Cons:
- When I put on the protective cover, compared to my netbook, it feels bulky. Also, if I have to add a laptop bag, you start to feel the weight.
I love how lightweight my netbook is, but when all is said and done, I’d highly recommend the Macbook Pro. It’s highly dependable and a quality buy.
